There’s a side of me that most people don’t know about: When I started out, I was struggling, frustrated, and had no idea what to do...
I wasn’t born with a silver spoon, I wasn’t some sort of expert, I didn’t have any business or technology training and I didn’t catch any big breaks either.

Still though, I needed to make money somehow, so I put my pride aside and went back to the fitness center that I worked at before as a personal trainer. It just so happens that after a month of personal training, the nutritionist at the gym got fired and I was asked to fill her shoes.

When you work at a gym, you have sales goals and I was not meeting mine... and, I knew that I was going to get fired if I didn’t do something quick.
Now I know that the problem was that I wasn’t treating my nutrition practice like a business… I was selling single sessions and giving way too much information away for free...
So I had what I like to call an 'Eat, Pray, Love' Moment, you know, where you’re hysterically crying on the bathroom floor.
And in that moment I decided that I was going to figure it out… so I started to pay attention to what other businesses in the health and coaching industry were doing and what was successfully sold at the gym... and it was signature group programs.
